Commercial
Based in Bristol, we cover a wide range of electrical services for commercial clients.
Whatever your requirements for your commercial property, Electriage’s wide range of electrical expertise will ensure you get the high level of service quality you need. Some of our main services to commercial clients include:
Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR)
Periodic inspection and testing is recommended every five years (maximum) or on change of occupancy for sites and buildings such as medical centres, dental practices, computer centres (hubs), shops, offices, gyms, swimming pools, schools, colleges, aircraft terminals and control towers.
There are shorter periods for some installations. Workshops and garages need inspecting every three years for example and swimming pools require annual testing.
We use a variety of specialised equipment in producing comprehensive reports on all types of installations. Any fault detected will be listed and categorised depending on its severity on the certificate.
Upon completion an NICEIC approved contractor certificate will be issued with a cost for any remedials and improvements to make sure the electrical installation is in a satisfactory and safe condition.
Electrical installations and projects
Electriage can help you with all types of wiring services (single and three phase systems) for new builds and refurbishments.
Installations (even a new circuit to an existing distribution board) will be designed, installed, inspected, tested and verified by an approved, competent electrician with an NICEIC electrical installation certificate and project manual upon completion.
Our experience in electrical refurbishment includes safely isolating and removing redundant circuits and equipment; installing any temporary supplies if required; and then completing the new installation within the requested timeframe, issuing handover documentation.
We will ensure that any work undertaken causes you and/or the end user the minimum disturbance and inconvenience.
Before working with us, you are sure to want to understand our credentials which underpin a good, safe and reliable job. We are audited by the NICEIC annually to confirm the strict safety and quality standards we work to as a reputable electrical company.
We have a health and safety policy in place and regularly update our procedures and training to meet the needs of our clients, and adapt to changing work environments such as those caused by COVID-19.
Our own health and safety policy requires each task to be assessed with a method of works, risk assessment and point of work risk assessment.
Moreover, we are also familiar with working to the additional safety requirements of site permit to work systems. We have experience of working in the petrol, chemical, food and drug industries and fully understand the importance of hygiene as part of the health and safety requirements for personnel and products in these sectors.
Maintenance, preventative planned maintenance (PPM)
We can offer a range of electrical maintenance packages to ensure that the installation is compliant with statutory regulation and remains safe for the end users. This will reduce the possibility of breakdowns or callouts and reduce cost by identifying issues and rectifying them before equipment or systems become unserviceable.
If you need help with emergency lighting testing, lightning inspection and testing or RCD injection testing, we can assist with these too.
